What is it?

life can be pretty hectic....ups and downs...happiness and confusion. many times are we not only confused about others, we're confused about ourselves...our feelings...our thoughts...our experiences. many times it's hard to make decisions because our vision is so blurred. it's so hard for us to clear it by quieting ourselves and talking with God. why is that? why is it so hard for us to lay ourselves before our creator, maker, Lord, best friend...in a word...everything? He's the best listener, right? so why is it sometimes so hard to just talk to Him? Not try to figure it out, or stress about it...but just talk to Him? it is our pride? our own anxiousness? what is it?
