As I look down at my textbooks for the coming school year, in a way, I dread it, and in another, I get excited.
I dread the thought of the late nights, trying to figure out the last problem on that pesky math assignment. I dread the thick textbooks that await me. I dread the......well.....work that goes into school. All of the late nights, thick textbooks, and hard science labs really don't make me excited for school.
On the other hand, however, I am excited for the social connections that will spark back when I start school. All of the friends that I met last year and I didn't stay very connected to over the summer will come back. I'm also excited for all of the clubs and committees that I can be apart of this fall. But mostly, I'm excited for the fresh start I get at the beginning of September. I get to start at the 100% mark, and do my best. And I don't have to worry about what happened last year, and the assignments that went down the drain, because that was....well...last year, and this year is this year.
