Sparklers

Do you ever expect big things from God? I know I do...too many times probably...

Zephaniah 3:17 says:
“The LORD your God is in your midst,
A victorious warrior.
He will exult over you with joy,
He will be quiet in His love,
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

A couple of months ago, I was reading this passage. The part that really stuck out to me was "He will be quiet in His love". So many times I think that God is going to put on a big display of his power for me. And sometimes, He does. But many times, He does it in small ways. And many times, to my surprise, those mean the most.
Maybe sometimes we wait for the fireworks, when we're missing the sparklers all along...
Well, there's another Epiphany for ya!
