Focusing on God

With everything that happens in life, it's pretty hard to focus entirely on God. After all, you can't see Him....or can You?

Everyday we wake up, go through the same routine (with minor changes), go to bed, and then repeat the cycle. Of course, we spend time with friends, family, play video games, do school, etc. But there has to be something more than just living.

I believe that there is. I believe that there is God. I believe that there is God and that He wants to have a personal relationship with us. But I don't think it stops there. I think that we have to continuing to reach out to Him everyday of our lives.

But it's not that easy. We get distracted by so many things. It's crazy though, how when you think about it, these things don't really matter. What could matter more than having a relationship with the God of the universe? The God who made you? The God who made me?

Even though it's hard at times, we have to keep our focus on God. We have to continue to pray that He would help us keep our focus on Him. For there is no other thing that matters more. Fame, Fortune, Friends? These are things that we love and want, but God is above them. I'm not saying that these things are bad. I'm just saying that they CAN be bad if we let them get in the way of us focusing on God.

"And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live."
